Osteopathy is a successful, natural and non-invasive system of treatment that supports your body’s ability to heal and repair.
It is a highly adaptable approach allowing it to be suitable for all stages of life from a newborn baby to children, during pregnancy and the elderly and frail.
Osteopathy is able to treat you as an individual, its strength is there is no-one, whatever their symptom, who is treated the same.
Osteopathy is a holistic approach in that it considers all possible causes for your discomfort, not just the locality of your symptoms. It looks at your overall posture, your history and current life style. By increasing mobility and blood flow Osteopathy seeks to reduce pain and improve health. Osteopaths know that in order to be healthy our body must move and function well. If we cannot move freely then our body and physiology has to work harder.
Where possible I will identify factors in your life that are contributing to your problem. I seek to leave my patients better informed about their health and aim to prevent/reduce problems in the future. By doing so I develop long term relationships with patients and their family. They know they can come back and see me and get an honest opinion of what is the best course of action to take.
Osteopathy can help with many conditions during all times of life,
but it commonly treats:
- General Back and Neck Pain (of sudden onset or long term duration)
- General Aches and Pains
- Joint Pain (all joints of the body, not just the back)
- Arthritic Pain
- Headache and Migraine Prevention
- Muscle Spasm
- Sports Injuries
- Inability to Relax (Adults, Babies and Children)

I have been visiting Louise for several years and she keeps my neck and shoulders pain free and in check. Her techniques are gentle but highly effective. She is professional and gets to understand her clients so she can get to the root of the problem – Highly Recommended.
